Lee Seaward is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reiki Master/Teacher.

Through the Professional use of Therapeutic Massage or Reiki, Lee Specializes In: Pain and Stress Reduction, Geriatric Massage, Terminal, Chronic and Special Needs Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Trigger Points, Stone Therapy and Energy Work.

Dave Seaward is a certified Reiki Master/Teacher. He is certified in New York State as a Master/Teacher of the Ushi Method of Reiki. Dave has been working with stone energy and healing for a number of years. Besides using crystals in conjunction with Reiki, he works one on one with individuals seeking knowledge in crystal therapy. He is involved with special needs for children. Dave is a gifted practitioner that seeks out and develops the true identity of these young individuals.

MISSION STATEMENT

Together, their mission is to present health and healing modalities for those wishing to connect with body, mind and spirit through the use of Therapeutic Massage, Reiki and Gem Therapy.

Massage and bodywork can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue, improve posture, and reduce blood pressure. Massage and bodywork is also known to promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety and create an overall sense of well-being.

MODALITIES

Deep Tissue Massage

Release chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow firm strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas. This technique follows the grain or the cross grain of the muscle and is used on muscles, tendons, and fascia. This treatment enhances blood supply to the problem areas helping to diminish pain.

Swedish Massage

Promotes general relaxation and improves circulation and joint mobility, as well as relieving muscle tension. Used primarily in a full-body session, it is a system of long strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on the superficial layers of muscles.

Neuromuscular and Hydro-Therapy Treatment

Treats acute or chronic pain caused by a strain, sprain, injury, stress, or tension. It can eliminate or minimize discomfort and increase flexibility and circulation while it improves posture, energy, and vitality by addressing specific involved muscles, tendons, soft tissue, and ligaments. Moist heat pads or ice treatments are also used when providing specific treatments.

Elder Massage

Is designed to bring massage to the “under-touched” using special methods for aging customers. It can reduce stress and anxiety, deepen breathing, lower blood pressure, stimulate circulation, relieve joint pain, stimulate bowels, increase lymph flow and reduce swelling and edema. It enhances the quality of life by improving sleep, releasing endorphins, and decreasing isolation.

Special Needs Massage

Special needs massage is designed to meet the needs of individuals dealing with cancer, AIDS, and other life threatening and chronic illnesses. It can be a comforting touch for the end of life or a means to teach family and friends about touch and energy. We invite you to talk to us about your special need.

Reiki

Reiki is a system of natural healing that is simple, yet precise. Reiki provides a vibrational frequency that harmonizes and balances the body, mind, and spirit. It is an ancient Japanese technique that uses a gentle form of touch therapy which produces a state of deep relaxation and helps to balance the human energy field. Reiki can help alleviate physical pain, relieve mental and emotional distress, release energy blocks, boost the immune system, promote wound healing, increase blood flow, and relax the body in general. Clients are asked to remove their shoes, but otherwise remain fully clothed. Soft lighting, healing music and the gentle hands of the practitioner provide an experience that will benefits the body, mind and spirit.

Gem Stone Therapy

Warm gem stones are used in a combination with massage and/or Reiki. This may be simply the laying on of stones, massaging with stones or stones set in a chakra grid beneath the table. In any case, the use of stones with treatment is designed to open and align the chakras, release energy blockages, stimulate well being and provide grounding and balance. It promotes over all well being and relaxation while providing a means to connect with body, mind and spirit.
